GCSE exams will not take place in summer 2020. For further information, see guidance for teachers, students and parents from Ofqual: available here

Results Day

GCSE results day is Thursday 20 August.
GCSE results will be emailed to students on their school email address at approximately 9am.

Appeal of Grades
For this exam season, students will not be able to appeal the grades awarded.
The school may only appeal if an administrative error was made by the school when submitting grades, or if they believe an administrative error was made by the awarding body.
More details about this will be available on results day.

Sitting an Examination in the Autumn
If students wish to try and improve their grades, they may sit an examination in November in any of their GCSE subjects.
More details about this will be available on results day.

School Support on Exams Day

If students would like to talk to someone at school about their results, their parents or carers will be able to book them a slot to come in between 10 am and 1pm on results day. This might be to help with interpretation of grades, post-16 guidance or for wellbeing support.

Parents/carers will be sent a ParentMail about this on results day.
